This website was developed specifically for the 6th annual INEBRIA conference. The site’s primary function is as a portal for delegates to book a place, find out about and pay for the conference.
The client also required a function to allow potential speakers to submit papers for their talk.
For this site we were given access to images taken by local photographer Graeme Peacock. One of his images was chosen as a striking main banner for this site, and we used a number of other local themed imagery for headers. This, along with the iconic Angel of the North served to create a genuine local themed site.
This was a very extensive development project as the client required the ability to allow delegates to upload abstracts of their presentations should they wish to speak at the conference. An option for delegates to upload multiple abstracts for a symposium was also needed. The administrators of the site are then able to accept or reject their application to speak at the conference. The administration side of the site also provided statistical analysis of the people attending the conference, along with delegates’ specific dietary and other such requirements.
