First Contact Clinical, a community interest company, was commissioned by the NHS to provide training in alcohol identification and brief intervention. They required a website that would facilitate training scheduling and management.
Although First Contact Clinical had an existing logo and website, they requested us to redesign the site as we saw fit. It was important that it was clear that First Contact Clinical only provided training for NHS staff. Non-NHS staff that required training would be redirected to NECAs website. The Login and other forms contained within the site were laid out carefully to ensure total clarity and ease of use.
Administrators of this site have the ability to advertise and promote available courses. They can also provide tailored online pre-learning and post learning that can easily be kept up to date using document upload forms and other inputs. People who are seeking training can then book onto a course of their choosing through the website. Email notification systems were also employed to keep trainees up to date with what they needed to do.
